Red Spider Lily

This is what I imagine the Red Spider Lily to look like as a human! These flowers often represent death prominently in Japan and China. Red Spider Lilies are commonly used in animes to foreshadow/imply death of a character. In this reimagination, I’ve portrayed her as a guiding entity towards the afterlife. The ghost-like child represents the souls or spirits who are on the verge of death being safely guided by these beautiful flowers.

Skeleton Flower

This flower is best-known for the transformation it experiences during rain showers. The petals become clear and transparent, revealing its skeleton hiding within. I’ve reimagined this flower as an elegant and almost fragile being. As it’s submerged underwater and painted by the rain, one can clearly see its transparency and purity.

Lily of the Valley

These white, sweet-scented, bell-shaped flowers symbolize motherhood, chastity and sweetness. However, it’s also known for its poisonous property which can cause a dangerous irregular heartbeat. I have depicted her as a sweet and alluring character with a deceiving look in her eyes.
